Well, its been a while since I have posted, and I haven't been able to
keep up as much with the goings on in the tracing community as I would
like. But thats how life goes sometimes.

This is my most recent attempt at photo-realistic raytracing. As you can
see, lighthouse on the right open sea on the left. I am pretty satisfied
with the lighthouse/cliff portion of the scene, but the rest of the
scene seems to be leaving something to be desired. I think that its
because there is so much open space, but Im not sure. I was thinking
about putting the shape of a sailboat out there to break things up a
bit.

Another thing that bothers me about the image is the clean line between
the ocean and the sky. It seems too artificial. And could soemone point
me in the right direction of some good cloud tutorials. I have seen
several scroll by on the newsreader in the past months, but havent paid
close enough attention to my own tracing needs to know that I wanted
them. I think that I saw something a while back about media method 3
with mega-pov. The images that I saw with that is where I was hoping to
head with the sky in this image.

Questions, comments?
